[play trailer, kids laugh, begin quoting the trailer to each other.]
Mom: So, are we going to go?
Kids: No, thanks.
Dillon: Maybe when we’re a bit older.

happens all the time at our house, too. I told Micah last night that I want to take him ice skating next week and his response was “no, thanks.” My response was, “let me rephrase that. We’re going ice skating next week.” That seems to work better.
