Peter Pan

For those of you in the Milwaukee Area, go see Peter Pan at the Modjeska Youth Theatre now through December 10th.  It was fantastic, and Dillon LOVED it tremendously!  They actually 'fly' the kids in and out on wires, it really was tons of fun.

He was so into it, that during intermission he asked me for one of the t-shirts, and I bought it for him, but then he rolled it up and put it into my purse very quickly.  It turned out he was worried about 'Captain Hook' spotting it!  But we cleared that up pretty quickly.

On our way out, we saw one of the 'pirates', and Dillon was totally star-struck.  He waved shyly, and the pirate stopped to talk to him, and D couldn't say two words!  He was just grinning from ear to ear and shaking his head yes and no.  The pirate told him that D could audition next year-they start kids at six-and D was totally excited by that.  He can't wait…  But he would have been a great lost boy in this show, I'm disappointed we missed out on it!

When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.
    Peter Pan

D WILL be a wonderful lost boy, not to mention Peter Pan some day.
